KMS Now Has Access to the Shared Online Library Reserve! Sign in Today : )

Kohala Middle School students can now access the Shared eBook Collection of over 6,000 items providing them with 24/7 access to thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, and Read Alongs that can be enjoyed on all major platforms and devices. We want to encourage our students and staff to check out this sweet resource! No worries on losing or damaging books, or having overdue fees. With the eBooks students can highlight, take notes, look up dictionary definitions and look up characters, words and phrases to see where else they occur in the book, directly in the eBook. Hawaii Agricultural Foundation's 4th Annual Localicious Art & Poetry Contest

This year students grades K-8 are eligible to submit an original illustration or poem that depicts the theme "My Favorite Dish Created with Locally Grown and Raised Crop". The contest is running NOW through November 9th! The lucky grand prize winner will receive a $100 mall shopping spree and an exclusive class party with a local celebrity chef, and will be featured on the front cover of the Localicious Hawaii Art Calendar (2018-2019). Runners up in 3 different age brackets (grades K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8) will also be awarded with a shopping spree: $75 for first place and $50 for second place!

Girl Powered with Kohala Robotics

International Girl's Day is during fall break this year, Wednesday October 11th. Encouraging girls grades 6-12 who want to get hands on with technology and robotics to come celebrate with Ms. Fern White at Kohala High School Room F30. Please enroll ahead of time by e-mailing!
