- Third Thursday Ohana Night: Family Movie Night "WONDER"
- 10/18/2018, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Kohala Middle School Outside of Room P1
In honer of National Bully Prevention Month October's Third Thursday Ohana Night will be an outdoor showing of the film Wonder. Based on the New York Times bestseller, Wonder tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.
Please bring your own blanket, chair and favorite movie snacks to share. Light pupus and ice water will be served. In the event of rain the movie showing will be moved to the cafeteria.
If you have something you would like to share with our ohana or see happening here please contact parent community networking coordinator Celene Cook by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
