Hawaiian Studies

In understanding Native Hawaiian culture, we learn from the past in order to protect our future. Students will learn the basics of Hawaiian cultural practices, chants, mele, legends and 'olelo. This class will incorporate guest speakers, hands on activities and field trips related to cultural studies. Ku i ka mana, "The students receive knowledge from the mouths of their teachers."
